The Hype Behind Anti Age Skin Care Products

November 1, 2009 · Filed Under health

Research and development are what should be the cornerstone of any effort to formulate an anti-aging skin care product.  The difficulty is that many times corners are cut and you end up with less than desirable ingredients in your anti-aging skin care creams.

Why would a major cosmetics company use inferior compounds in their anti aging skin care product, yet still charge such a unreasonable price?  It may be because it has the moniker of a certain fashion designer or one of the ‘hot today gone tomorrow’ young celebs on the label.

If this is the case, then it’s simple to see why there’s less to their anti aging skin cream, or at least this one.  It’s because with the use of a famous image or name comes licensing costs to that person, and they must make up that money somehow.

Of course, the company can not afford to raise the cost of their anti-aging skin care creams to the point where they price themselves out of the well-liked market, so the only possible way left in order to lower their cost is to use cheaper ingredients.

Celebrity endorsements are not the only element that can affect the cost of an anti-aging skin care product.  Even without the famous name, there’s still advertising to be done.  Print and television adverts are a large piece of a cosmetics company’s yearly budget.

If there were some way to convince these companies that if they were to direct much of the cash that’s spent on marketing over to their research and development wing, then they could enjoy the resources to provide higher quality better anti aging skin care creams.

that is not the way that it works for most corporations.  They for some reason would rather depend on slick sales of an inferior anti-aging skin care product.  Apparently half truths and exaggerated claims are forgiven as long as the consumer is completely convinced.

the majority of these anti age skin care creams essentially contain very few active ingredients, and even they can only be found in low concentrations.  This affects both the quality and the effectiveness of the product, but you’ve got to economize somewhere, right?

The primary ingredient used is generally nothing more than purified water.  Then the developers add a clutch of chemicals, dyes, and perfumes.  In the final analysis there is not too much space left for a high concentration of active components.

The best anti age skin creams on the market today aren’t sold in retail shops or in dept store.  You’ll most likely never see a broadcasted ad for them either.  The best products are the ones that are available direct from the manufacturer.

You will get natural substances in higher concentrations, because the ‘fillers’ are left out.  Their all natural product contains significant antioxidants like CoQ10, vitamins, moisturizing oils, vegetable wax and restorative proteins.

This is the sort of anti age skin care product worth buying.  No celebrities, no fillers, no lies.

I have chosen to eliminate all of the nasty chemical based anti-aging “remedies” and instead I am using natural things for my skin. I do take my daily Vidazorb OPC age defense probiotic and for my face I wash with baking soda and water mixed and then I moisturize with olive oil. It feels wonderful and it makes me feel great to know that what I am putting on my skin is healthy! I read that “we should not put on our skin, anything that we wouldn’t be willing to eat” Says enough for me!
